When we started the company, we knew there is a need in the market. It was important for us to make it valid and to identify ourselves with the end product.
We choose to be transparent and to showcase the story that engaged us throughout this journey.
I still remember when I was in Seville, at GALA conference 2015, representing at that time, another language service provider which helped me understand more the industry.
It was a particular session, called: This changes everything, delivered by Robert Etches, the Chief Innovation Officer for TextMinded.

Since that moment, me and my partner, we could not stay steady. We developed a company, that aimes to connect businesses with Generation Y.
Some perks of working in a start-up such as YTranslations:
1. You will learn a lot, and you will learn it quickly.
For the jobs that we are hiring – on sales, you will be part of the process of tapping into European markets, in the language industry and in the creative sector (web, advertising, etc). In 6 months, you should have the knowledge & the experience in international sales but also being an account manager for the clients that you brought to the company.
But there will be always extra things – that we will learn together – one from each other. It does not have to be all work related.
2. Work with people your age.
I just like the thought of having young & enthusiastic people, in an environment where everyone feels comfortable being honest and authentic. It makes me smile and eager to look forward to start the work in the morning with a fresh coffee. Even on Mondays.
3. Flat structure – lack of big hierarchical structure
Most of the times, you dislike your boss, more than you dislike your job.
I will do my best to be the manager that I would like to have, and I am always open to feedback as a way of helping each other to grow.
4. Be engaged in the strategy
As part of the learning process, it is important that we all contribute. For example, when we will create the sales plan, we sit together and we research on the industries, channels, budgets, etc. We create a sales map that we are confortable with, and make our own individual plan with our specific indicators, that we evaluate and analyze the results of it. And we enjoy the process.
5. You are rewarded for your results
If you are coming for a fixed salary, this is definitely not your place. In a dynamic environment, being able to produce fast results is an advantage. Of course, you will receive a fixed salary, but we do hope to increase it based on your results.
