PM assigns project to native translator
We needed a linguist previously tested and approved for each of the five languages who knew Memsource
Formatting
The project was added to Memsource. Therefore, the initial formatting of the client was kept without the linguist needing to do any change.
Final check
Completed internally by our PM. We checked that the requirements and demands received from the client were met using the QA module embedded in Memsource CAT tool. We covered the terminology, formatting, punctuation, missing and incomplete translation, and local standards compliance.
Specifics of the projects
Our cooperation started in March 2019 with an English-French translation of a business file. Since then, we have completed 39 projects, providing support for translation of different Advertising & Marketing, Business, and IT&Web files, such as:
- Press Releases
- Social media posts
- Product descriptions
- Executive summaries
- Financial documents

5 Language Pairs
How YTranslations managed the project:
In the beginning, we mostly had projects from English into French. After a couple of months, we also received translation tasks from English into Slovak, Czech, Turkish, and Arabic.
One of the first priorities we had when our collaboration started was to find linguists with the right expertise to complete these projects. We established a team with colleagues from Human Resources and the PM, and together we identified the linguists, tested them and sent their translation to the client to have them approved.
This is how we assigned a team of linguists for each language pair and industry. Now, whenever we have a new task from CaseWare, depending on these two criteria, we know whom to contact first.
